Your body is a masterpiece.

It’s capable.
It’s strong.
It can do the things you set your mind to.
Today during my workout I was realizing how much stronger my body’s gotten and that it can do things now that I couldn’t in the past.
I’ve gotten stronger, more flexible, and more understanding of my body.
I talk a lot about how strong my upper body’s gotten, but today I was realizing how much stronger my lower body’s gotten, even without training with heavy weights. I could hold moves I couldn’t before, and I felt the strength in my lower body working as I pushed through my workout.
I’ve also gotten so much more flexible. If you know me, you know I was the most inflexible person you’d probably ever met. Even when I was young and athletic in high school, I couldn’t touch my toes. Now, I can not only touch my toes, but even reach slightly past them (and I anticipate getting even more flexible with time)!
I thought I was simply born inflexible, but I’m realizing now that isn’t true, and I’m amazed at the changes our bodies can make with some consistency.
Be forgiving of your body, especially if you haven’t really given it a chance to show you everything it’s capable of!
What’s something you’re proud of your body for doing today?
