Consistency is possible.
It may not feel like it, but with these 5 tweaks, it is.
First, schedule it into your day and follow through. Do you press snooze a few too many times and never have time to workout in the morning? Workout at night! Are you too tired at the end of the day? Workout during your lunch break! Do you run out of time come evening? Workout first thing! If there’s a will, there’s a way.
Second, decide WHY you want to workout consistently and write down what will be different when you achieve that goal. This will help you stick to it when things get tough and you want to quit; determination’s better than motivation.
Third, realize you don’t need to workout for an hour+ per day. Even just 20 minutes of exercise can have crazy results (and get you in the habit of working out daily)!
Forth, (and this one’s been huge for me,) follow a workout plan. Know what you’ll be doing each day and on which days. (When I did my own thing, on days I didn’t feel like it, I “okayed” it with myself saying I worked hard the day before. I didn’t have a schedule which made it easy to skip a day (…days) and hard to get into a routine).
Fifth, (and probably most important,) find accountability buddies. Regardless of the habit you’re trying to start, studies show peer support increases your chance of success from 10% to 80%! You’re more likely to succeed if you do it with someone!
& what better time than now to start working out more consistently with summer around the corner!? How about now +$20 off?!
My next accountability group kicks off on Monday, May 18th and you’ll get all of these keys to consistency plus so much more! Drop a 💪🏼 emoji in the comments for the details! (Workout equipment optional 😊👌🏼)
